I like Basel so far – there is lots to do and see. I am still trying to do the stuff that I would normally do at home, like play basketball. So far we have gone to a Banksy exhibit and it was lots of fun. We take German every morning with Frau Monica and I feel like it’s helping.

In the next few days, I’m planning to play more basketball and explore more of Basel. We’re also going over to Dad’s childhood friend’s house tomorrow. They have three kids and it will be nice to hang out with someone other than just my family. – Xander

It is Jacob here today with some stuff that you want me to tell you so I guess should. It’s nice to be here. Everyone is nice and everything is in German so it’s a little hard but some people speak English so that is helpful. We just went to the Banksy show. Here is some art:

So not too much happening right now but we go to Italy very soon and I’m excited!

I love your blog! I hope you have fun with Bart and Whitney and the kids. The Bansky exhibit looks so interesting. (As well as your green croc., Jacob-very deep.)

Wow, thanks for sharing Banksy’s Vietnam piece! I agree, it is really powerful. And your perfect description of Mr. McCreepy, the mascot from hell, made me roar!
